Shear Express Salon would ask you to realize that when you forget your appointment or fail to cancel with enough advance notice, Shear Express Salon misses out on an opportunity to fill that time slot, and our wait list clients miss the chance to step into that time slot. Additionally when you are late, it pushes all the appointments after you back, and that is not fair to our other clients.

A “Booking Fee” is required for 50% of the estimated service and will be charged when the service is booked. The “Booking Fee” will be applied to the amount due at the end of your service. “Booking Fee” is required for Chemical Services, Bridal Parties or Special Occasion Hair styles such as Proms. A valid credit card is required at the time the service is booked.

Since we realize that it is easy to forget an appointment made months in advance, all our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance of the service by our appointment service. Cancellations that need to be made after hours on Saturdays or on a Sunday need to be emailed to shearexpress@currently.com

Cancellation/ Late fees will apply for the following:

  1. Less than 48 hour notice will result in a fee of 50% of the reserved service price.
  2. “No Show” will be charged 100% of the booked service to the credit card on file.
  3. Cancellation of an appointment made the same day will require at least 4 hours’ notice. A failure to provide it will result in a fee equal to 50% of the reserved service cost.
  4. “Late Fee” Please be courteous to your stylist and fellow clients by arriving on time to your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment and you have not notified your stylists, there will be a $20 late fee imposed. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment will forfeit the original appointment and will be charged a $50 “Rescheduling Fee.”
  5. If you have booked an appointment with less than 24 hours between booking time and scheduled appointment, you are required to cancel 3 hours before your service start time to avoid the late cancellation fee.

The purpose of this “Cancellation/Late Fee” policy is to enable us to insure our wait list clients the opportunity to fill the vacant time slot, keep our schedule filled, thus allowing us to be able to keep the lights on, pay our bills and our Stylists.
